Flusser’s shaving gesture

This installation is based on Vilem Flusser’s essays on Gestures* from where Dani Bocse was excited by the Shaving gesture. According to Flusser, “(…) What is made visible by shaving is not the face, but the skin, and this mean that what is made visible is the border between the man and the world.(…)”**

This works are only a little part from an entire project that Dani Bocse is developing for possible future shows.

13 color inkjet on Kodak matte paper mounted on wall with needles.
